Stephen A. Masciola, Managing Partner, is the founder of Pantheon Capital Partners. Steve has been involved in commercial real estate finance, development, sales, and leasing for over 17 years. Today, Steve operates the mortgage banker/brokerage company, which is slotted to close $1 billion dollars in loan transactions in 2006. Steve has negotiated and provided debt & equity for countless Washington DC and national clients. Originally introduced to the real estate industry as a broker/agent in 1988, Steve has also been a developer and principal of several successful real estate projects in the Metro Washington market, from land development, redevelopment of shopping center properties to condominium ground-up development. Steve is currently an advisor and principal in various real estate projects in the Metropolitan Washington Area. Additionally, Steve is the Managing Partner of a significant condominium development project in Orlando, Florida, which continues to be a market of interest. Steve has always considered that the success of the financing company is enhanced by the successful development experience of the Pantheon staff. He attended The University of Massachusetts- Amherst and received a degree in Finance.
Robert M. Wenger, Partner, has 30 years of experience in a variety of legal, entrepreneurial, and business activities. He began his career as a real estate attorney in Boston, Massachusetts. He moved to Washington, DC in 1976 and spent six years working for the federal government, the last five as Senior Counsel to the United States Senate Subcommittee on Health and Scientific Research. In 1982, he was one of the founders of ENVIRON International Corporation, a multidisciplinary consulting firm providing health and environmental risk and liability assessment and management services to clients worldwide. The company entered the public marketplace in 1990. In his last seven years at ENVIRON, Bob was President and Chief Operating Officer. Among his duties, he had primary responsibility for leasing several hundred thousand square feet of office space. Since then, Bob has devoted his time as an investor/developer of early stage technology companies and of a variety of multifamily and commercial real estate projects in the Washington metropolitan area. Bob has a JD from the Columbia University School of Law and a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Amy J. Lemieux, Senior Underwriter, has over 12 years of experience in client financial relations, contract negotiations, and customer service. Amy came to the Washington DC area in 1996 with MBNA America as an Affinity Program Manager handling marketing and promotions for many of MBNA's top 100 affinity credit card programs. Since joining Pantheon Capital in 1999, she has developed and maintained an active client base while handling all aspects of loan underwriting. Amy specializes in multifamily, shopping center and office building transactions. From the initial interview through closing, Amy is in constant contact with our clients and lenders, bridging communication between the two. Her primary role is to collect and analyze all information about our clients, their properties, and their financing needs and match them with lender requirements. She is a graduate of Sweet Briar College, Sweet Briar, Virginia.
Matthew Hoffman, Partner, Pantheon Capital Partners-Baltimore, directs the company's development, sales, marketing, and administration activities. Prior to joining Pantheon Capital Partners-Baltimore, he founded The Business Strategy Group, a strategy consulting business that assisted businesses with operational and strategic growth challenges. He serviced as Vice President for Strategy and Business Development with BeyondGuide, a multimedia company owned by Bertelsmann and Metromedia, and as a consultant with Infotech Strategies where he advised Fortune 500 CEOs on policy and strategy issues. In 1996, Matt was appointed as a policy advisor to the U.S. Secretary of Commerce and he directed the interagency office that coordinated national electronic commerce policy for the White House. Matt received an undergraduate degree from Brown University and a master's degree from Harvard University.
Karyn D. Mitchell, Client Development, has been working in real estate and private industry for over 25 years. She began her career working for a Maryland settlement attorney from 1978 until 1984. Karyn then took a position with Freddie Mac from 1984 until 1989, where her primary responsibilities involved financial management, placing investor paydown notices and tombstone ads in national papers, and analyzing the secondary mortgage market. Since 1989, Karyn has worked with successful venture capital firms, organizing the entities, negotiating and maintaining their commercial leases, and managing their profit and loss. She joined Pantheon Capital Partners in 2003 and is responsible for client marketing and referral programs, managing quality control procedures, and financial reporting. She is a graduate of The Catholic University of America, Washington, DC.
Oscar B. Dailey, Client Development, has over 33 years experience in finance, administration, project management, and real estate investing, while providing accounting, financial, tax, debt counseling, and investment management services. He has managed customer service and financial operations at Honeywell Corporation, Xerox Corporation, Wang Laboratories, Sprint, and Disaster Relief for SBA. His most recent undertaking was as the Lead Project Administrator at First Mount Zion Baptist Church in the construction of a 90,000 square foot facility that includes a sanctuary with a seating capacity of 2000 and a multi-purpose area that includes a gymnasium, commercial kitchen, fitness center, daycare center, senior's activity center, credit union, and many other amenities. Oscar is currently a financial consultant in the Metropolitan Washington Area, with a customer base comprised of churches, small and medium sized businesses, government contractors, daycare centers, credit unions, and homeowners' associations. He is a graduate of the Tuskegee University in Alabama, holds a Masters in Accounting and Taxation from Southeastern University, Washington, DC and has completed post graduate study at the University of Minnesota and Rochester Institute of Technology
Pamela Piester, Client Development , has worked for 20 years in the field of real estate finance. Most recently, she founded Mortgage Advisory Group, Inc., a thriving full-service, highly competitive residential mortgage brokerage firm providing premiere service and consultation on a broad number of loan products from numerous lenders. Prior to forming Mortgage Advisory Group, Pamela was a Senior Vice President and east coast Regional Wholesale Manager for First Horizon Home Loans, where she managed regional production and operations for six wholesale branches. Her career has been marked by rapid promotions to increasingly responsible positions based on demonstrated success working with clients, managing employees, and establishing enduring market presence. Pamela has joined Pantheon Capital Partners LLC to assist with client development and market penetration. She is a graduate of the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado.
Silvia M. Zumarraga, Client Development, has over eight years of project finance and project structure development experience with proven success in negotiation and strategic planning for project development and asset acquisition in both the public and private sectors. She is experienced in the full range of customized financing solutions in the legal, finance, business, and government arenas. With a master's degree from the University of Massachusetts, Silvia started her career in finance with Energia Global International, where she specialized in the development and financing of energy management programs in Central America. She continued her work in energy management finance as an International Business Developer for Constellation Power of Baltimore, MD; then as an International Development Manager at the Annapolis, MD branch of Finnish Warstila Development and Financial services. At Warstila, Silvia led the development of a large thermal power generation project in Honduras, strengthened strategic relationships to negotiate key deals in Latin America, and helped close several multimillion dollar projects.
